Sasha felt his hands glide down her waist and hip, tried very hard not to react. She’d given him too much, she thought. She’d given in to his demands and now he’d conquered her body. She couldn’t fight him sexually and he knew it. She wiped the tears that slipped out from her eyes and tried to come to terms with how weak she was. Of all the men in the world she should have been able to resist, why did he have this kind of power over her? It didn’t make any sense!

“Hey,” Damon said, noticing the tears. “What’s wrong?” he asked.

Sasha shook her head and tried to get out of the bed. She wanted a shower and a change of clothes but she hadn’t brought a bag with her. She was going to have to wear that ugly dress again. That hated dress!

“I need a shower,” she told him when he stopped her.

“Why are you crying?” he asked again.

She shook her head. “Shower,” she repeated and slipped out from under his arm.

Damon watched her walk away from him, astounded by how perfect she looked. She bent down and picked the robe up off of the floor, slipping her arms in and then covering her body. She didn’t look at him either, which irritated him. He was used to women who doted on him, on his pleasure. He always ensured that they were pleasured as well, but it irked him that his wife was not acting in the same manner.

He supposed that he had a lot of work to do to prove to her that their marriage could work. And that he would be faithful to her. But if the last forty-eight hours was anything to go by, he suspected that he was going to be too busy in his wife’s bed to even consider looking at another woman.
